I thought you had worked out how to use Shield TVs native button mapper app. I searched Play Store and found ButtonMapper app. Never did work out how to get Nvidia Gamepad Mapper GUI to show or work, Shield Tablet had similar app which works awesome for mapping android touch gestures to controller buttons but has never ever worked on Shield TV and can mess with third party apps and it helped if was completely disabled in developer settings when we could.ĮDIT: ooof my bad. So still can't remap controller or switch that app off to stop it messing with third party apps! This setting to disable Nvidia Gamepad Mapper in developer settings has been removed since Shield Experience 8.0.0 rolled out. This has never worked on Shield TV 2015 for me and have found disabling that app in developer settings helped third party apps apply their own configs to Shield Controller like expected.
